Privacy policy.

Kinetic is developed by Sudhakar Raju. This policy describes the Kinetic website and the local-first Android and iOS app being prepared for release. Contact: sudhakar.r08@gmail.com.

Records stored on your device

Kinetic stores the details you enter, including age, height, weight and measurement history; workout preferences, plans, custom routines, completed sets, weights, repetitions, session history and personal records; reminder settings; and food diary entries, portions, custom foods, saved meals, optional manual targets and attached photos. These records support app features and are stored locally. The launch app does not require a Kinetic account or upload these records to a Kinetic backend.

Food photos and calorie estimates

Photos are optional diary references. You select the food and enter the quantity; Kinetic does not recognize food from photos or upload them for image analysis. Imported diary images are compressed locally without copying source EXIF metadata. Food values are estimates, especially for recipes. Kinetic provides calorie counting, not diet plans or automatic calorie recommendations.

Permissions

Notification permission supports optional workout reminders. Camera, photo selection and file selection are used when you choose those actions. System pickers provide access to selected items rather than requiring broad access to your files or cloud account credentials. You can manage permissions through your device settings.

Exports, backups and providers you choose

You can export records and attached photos to a file location you select. JSON exports are not encrypted. A password-encrypted backup option is available; protect its password because Kinetic cannot recover it. If you choose Google Drive, iCloud or another file provider, that provider handles the file under its own terms and privacy policy. Kinetic does not operate a cloud workout database for the launch app.

Advertising

Android builds with advertising enabled use Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform for eligible consent and privacy choices. These services may process IP addresses, advertising or device identifiers, app and device information, ad interactions, diagnostics and performance information to deliver, secure and measure advertising, subject to your choices and applicable requirements. Kinetic does not supply your workout records, vitals, food entries or photos as ad parameters or sell these local records.

Banners are restricted to Plans, Progress and the Food diary overview. Food-entry controls and dialogs do not show banners. No ads appear during active or paused workouts or rest timers. After a workout saves successfully, an already-loaded completion interstitial may appear before the summary, at most once per UTC day. If it is unavailable, the summary opens immediately. Returning to a summary does not trigger an ad. Where available, review advertising privacy choices in Profile. Refusing consent or an ad network error does not prevent core tracking. See Google’s privacy policy and Google’s ad controls. The website itself has no advertising scripts.

Website food diary preview

The optional browser preview uses food selections and gram quantities only in the current page’s memory to calculate estimates and display a temporary list. It does not store your entries in cookies or browser storage, upload them or synchronize them to the mobile app. Refreshing or closing the page clears the preview. The bundled public food catalog is delivered like other website assets.

Website and support

This static website has no account registration, analytics scripts, marketing forms or tracking cookies set by Kinetic. Firebase Hosting processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the website. Google’s handling is described in its Firebase privacy information and privacy policy.

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond and resolve your request, keeping correspondence only as needed for support and applicable obligations. Ask us to delete support correspondence using the contact address above. Please do not email passwords, backups or sensitive personal records.

Retention and deletion

Local app records remain on your device until you delete them, erase app data or remove the app, subject to your device’s backup behavior. Profile’s local data deletion control erases the current app records and local recovery state. An older restore/undo snapshot may retain removed records or photos until local data is erased. Exported files, system backups and copies held by a provider you selected must be deleted separately. We cannot remotely erase your local files. No Kinetic account deletion request is needed for the account-free launch version.

Security and your choices

Kinetic uses device storage and offers password encryption for portable backups. Protect your device, use encrypted backups for sensitive records and share exported files carefully. No storage or transmission method is guaranteed secure. You can edit profile details, remove diary entries, control permissions, manage eligible ad choices and erase local records through the app and system settings.

Adults and health information

Kinetic’s launch experience is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children. Exercise instructions, muscle diagrams and food estimates are informational tracking tools, not medical care, measured muscle activation or personalized dietary prescriptions. Exercise content has not yet been professionally reviewed. Kinetic is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent medical conditions. Consult a healthcare professional for medical advice and before exercise if you have health concerns.
